Garsfontein Hoerskool is net om die draai vanaf Greenwoods. Die skool strewe daarna om ʼn skool vir die gemeenskap en die nageslag te bou. In Januarie 1988 open Hoërskool Garsfontein sy deure en groei deur die jare tot een van die top skole in Pretoria. “Hoërskool Garsfontein streef om ʼn immer verbeterende model van uitnemendheid te word, wat alle leerders bemagtig om hulle volle potensiaal te bereik.” Die Hoërskool Garsfontein wil graag hê dat leerders in totaliteit ontwikkel en binne ʼn raamwerk van gesonde waardes besluite neem. Die skool wil mense die samelewing instuur wat reëls sal nakom sonder dat daar iemand is wat kyk of hulle dit nakom! Die vyf kernwaardes van Hoërskool Garsfontein is Verantwoordelikheid, Respek, Lojaliteit, Eerlikheid en Geborgenheid.
Hoerskool Waterkloof is effens verder, maar steeds maklik binne bereik. Hulle leuse is "Ons bou in geloof". Klofies is bekend vir sy uitmuntende akademiese en sport prestasies. Hierdie nuwe skool langs die N1-deurpad in die ooste van Pretoria, wat op 9 Januarie 1979 geopen is, se visie is om hulle Christelike en Afrikaanse waardes te bewaar en uit te bou, op só ‘n wyse dat leerders as jong volwassenes in die samelewing volgens hulle potensiaal en vermoë kan presteer. Hoërskool Waterkloof streef na ‘n kultuur van effektiewe en aangename onderrig in die klassituasie. Die skool se waardes en norme moet, soos vervat in die Onderwyswet, “‘n nie-rassige demokratiese en dinamiese onderwys wees, wat ons in staat sal stel om verantwoordelike volwassenes, ouers en lede van die gemeenskap te wees”.

The Glen High School was established in 1976. The school has distinct Scottish connections as can be seen in its school badge, the use of clans instead of houses, and the wearing of kilts and tartan ties. The motto, Urram, is Gaelic for A Respect with Honor. The school’s facilities include a gymnasium, tennis courts, playing fields, a shooting range, cricket nets, a swimming pool, and a spectacular Indoor Sports Centre. The centre provides three squash courts, four change rooms, three sport storerooms, a kitchenette and areas for hospitality and other activities. Apart from the sport facilities, the school also boasts with a Media Centre and the use of laptops, data projectors, smartboards and e-beams in the classrooms, several laboratories, a Media Centre as well as a Consumer Studies block.
